Creating Environmentally Conscious Art Collages

I’m careful about using products and materials that are safe for myself and the environment. Lately I’ve been experimenting with coffee filters, tea bags, deli paper and foam plates. I’ve been incorporating these materials in my collages. In the collage “Folding Dreams” I used foam material and textured wallpaper that I transformed with inks and metallic pens. In “Heartfelt Circles” I glued used coffee filters and tea bags on a circular mat board and added watercolor crayons for color. I then cut portions of one of my original prints and glued the pieces onto textured paper. I finished off the collage using metallic pens.
